Rest in peace, Chairman Clarence N. Wood. You have made a significant impact, over your lifetime, and will be remembered.

By recognizing historical and existing Inequalities, we can collectively take pivotal action toward creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

Chicago Community Documentary Screening – The Big Payback

A documentary chronicling the historic push for reparations in the city of Evanston, Illinois and nationally for the reparations bill, HR40. The documentary features Ald. Robin Rue Simmons and HR 40’s lead sponsor, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee.

Following the film, DuSable’s VP of Education and Programming, Dr. Kim Dulaney will engage in conversation with Ms. Simmons, producer Whitney Dow and Kamm Howard of Reparations United. Reception for 150 registrants following the screening/discussion. First 50 registrants are guaranteed entry into reception.
