The Black United Fund of Illinois, Inc. is supported by working individuals we see everyday, delivering our mail, teaching our children, policing our streets, serving our meals and performing any and all other professions we encounter in our daily lives. These individuals, of all economic levels, have stepped up and declared that they will contribute their resources to programs that provide solutions to problems of disparity in the African American communities in Illinois. They contribute through payroll deduction in the workplace. BUFI also receives support through donations from individuals and organizations concerned with the enhancement of the quality of life throughout the State of Illinois and grants from corporations, foundations and government sources. Our success depends on the generous support we receive from concerned Illinoisans who care enough to invest a small portion of their time and resources to make a difference.
